First layer: foundation layer

Second layer: stripping layer
It is generally coated with silicone resin. The main function is to make the pigment, aluminum and adhesive layer can quickly separate from the polyester film and be transferred and bonded on the surface of the hot stamping object after hot stamping. The separation layer should have a good separation performance, otherwise, the image and text of the hot stamping will be blurred, and the flower will be exposed, which will affect the quality of the hot stamping products.
Third layer: color layer
The main components are film-forming, heat resistance, transparency, suitable synthetic resin and dye. The commonly used resins are polyurethane nitrocellulose, melamine formaldehyde resin, modified rosin resin, etc. In production, resin and dye are dissolved in organic solvent to prepare color paste, then coated and dried. There are two main functions: one is to display the color; the other is to protect the aluminum-plated image and text printed on the surface of the article from oxidation. The color of electrochemical aluminum foil includes gold, orange, gray, red, blue, green, etc. The color of the color layer is given luster after passing through the aluminizing layer, and the color changes to some extent, such as the yellow color becomes gold after the diamond plating, and the gray color becomes silver after the aluminizing. The coating requirements for the color layer are fine without any small particles, so as to avoid sand holes and uniform coating.
Fourth layer: electroplated layer
The film coated with pigment is placed in the vacuum chamber of the vacuum continuous aluminum plating machine. Under a certain vacuum degree, the aluminum wire is melted and evaporated to the color layer of the film by resistance heating, and then the aluminum plating layer is formed. The main function of the aluminized layer is to reflect light, change the color of the color layer, and make it appear metallic luster.
Fifth layer: glue layer
Generally, it is a fusible thermoplastic resin. Different resins can be selected according to the different materials to be printed. The resin can be dissolved in organic solvent or mixed into aqueous solution. It is coated on the aluminum layer by the coater and then dried to form a glue layer. Its main function is to bond the hot stamping material on the hot object. During hot stamping, one of the main reasons for the phenomenon of poor hot stamping is that the glue layer is not matched, and the type of electrochemical aluminum foil selected for different hot stamping objects should also be different.
