How to adjust the welding temperature and heating time of PE pipeline
How to adjust the welding temperature and heating time of PE pipelineWith the changes of the four seasons throughout the year, the temperature will also be different, which will also affect the construction and installation of PE pipes. Taking the most common ambient temperature of 20 ° C as an example, the normal PE pipe welding temperature should be 220 degrees, and the heating time is 10 seconds for the pipe wall thickness. However, according to different temperatures, corresponding adjustments can be made, the recommendations are as follows.
1. When the temperature is below 0 ℃, the welding temperature can be set to 230 degrees, and the heating time is the pipe wall thickness * 12 seconds.
2. The welding temperature can be set to 225 degrees at 0 ℃ -10 ℃, and the heating time is the tube wall thickness * 11 seconds.
3. At 10 ℃ -20 ℃, the welding temperature can be set to 220 degrees, and the heating time is the pipe wall thickness * 10 seconds.
4. At 20 ℃ -30 ℃, the welding temperature can be set to 210 degrees, and the heating time is the tube wall thickness x 10 seconds.
5. When the temperature is above 30 ℃, the welding temperature can be set to 205 degrees, and the heating time is the pipe wall thickness x 9 seconds.
Therefore, we can get the reference index of PE pipe welding work: welding temperature: 220 degrees ± 10 degrees, heating time: tube wall thickness * 9 ~ 12 seconds.
