3. China WPC Industrialization Policy
The National Development and Reform Commission has included "technical development of wood-based composite materials" as an encouraging project in the "Guidance Catalogue for Industrial Structure Adjustment (2005)". The General Office of the State Council also issued the "Opinions on Accelerating the Promotion of Wood Conservation and Substitute Work" to the twelve ministries and commissions including the National Reform Commission at the end of 2005, requesting that "strengthen policy guidance and increase technical support" to save and substitute wood.
