3. China WPC Industrialization Policy

The National Development and Reform Commission has included "technical development of wood-based composite materials" in the encouraged category of the "Guidance Catalogue for Industrial Structure Adjustment (2005)". For China, the wood-plastic industry will be a win-win industry. On the one hand, there is a shortage of high-quality wood in China, and a large number of agricultural special straws are produced every year, but the comprehensive utilization rate is less than 10%. The emergence of wood-plastic materials can not only use a large number of crop straws, but also effectively alleviate the contradiction of the shortage of forest resources; On the other hand, the recycling of waste plastics is also a big problem in China, which has always been concerned by the industry, and wood-plastic materials have undoubtedly found the best way out for waste materials.
